Valuations can be conducted on either a replacement (Cost Price plus Duty and
VAT) or Sale Price basis. Both can be historically accommodated if required,
and optional comments can be used to identify them. | |

When undertaking a Cost Price Stock valuation, the majority (if not all) of
the non-catalogue stock items will have a zero cost price as they no longer
can be purchased from the supplier. To accurately reflect their value, and
avoid manually setting of large numbers of prices, it is possible to preset
a percentage (e.g. 80%) of the current sales price that can be used to
determine an estimated item value. | |
